Science Explorers: From Sound to Space (K12 Integrated Science: YEAR TWO - SPRING)
Embark on an exhilarating adventure blending science and engineering in our immersive course, "Science Explorers: From Sound to Space." Designed for kinder, first, and second-grade students, this interactive series of classes offers a captivating exploration of scientific principles and engineering marvels.
Throughout the course, students will delve into a diverse array of topics, including sound propagation, heat and temperature dynamics, simple machines, states of matter, aerospace engineering, computer science basics, and biomedical engineering. Each session is meticulously crafted to provide hands-on experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
From building their own simple machines to coding basic programs and designing model rockets, students will engage in exciting activities that bring scientific concepts to life. They'll explore the principles of flight, investigate the properties of solids, liquids, and gasses, and discover the incredible potential of biomedical engineering in healthcare innovation.
