Designed to foster a love for the environment and teach practical sustainability skills through fun, interactive projects, students will participate in activities like planting native plants, creating eco-friendly crafts, recycling art projects, and organizing park clean-ups. Each lesson encourages outdoor learning, creative expression, and real-world action, empowering students to make a positive impact on their local environment.
Environmental Stewards is a semester-long, hands-on course for students ages 6-10, focused on fostering environmental awareness and responsibility. Each week, students will participate in activities designed to connect them with the natural world, learn about sustainability, and take action to protect the environment. Our approach ensures that every student feels included, empowered, and excited to learn, making Environmental Stewards an enriching experience for all involved. You can feel confident that this course not only teaches environmental science but does so in a way that respects each child’s unique way of learning.
