Program Description:
In this hands-on course, students will dive into the art of polymer clay, a versatile medium perfect for creating colorful and imaginative pieces. Over the sessions, students will master foundational techniques like conditioning clay to ensure flexibility, blending colors to achieve custom shades, and crafting simple canes for intricate patterns. As they progress, students will also learn essential sculpting techniques, giving them the tools to bring their ideas to life in three-dimensional form. By the end of the course, participants will complete several personalized projects, including a unique patterned cane, a selection of sculpted charms, and a meticulously crafted clay dragon. This course emphasizes both technical skills and creativity, providing a supportive environment for students to experiment, design, and refine their polymer clay art.
All materials will be provided. 10 students or less in each class.
