Program Description
Curiosity Quest: Interactive Science Exploration for 3rd-5th Graders (345 Integrated Science Curriculum: YEAR FOUR - SPRING)
Continue the journey of discovery with the Spring Semester of Curiosity Quest! Building on the foundational topics explored during the fall, this program takes young scientists in 3rd to 5th grade further into the exciting world of physical, life, and earth sciences, as well as engineering and technology.
With new, dynamic lessons and deeper dives into concepts introduced in the fall, the 15-session spring program emphasizes hands-on experiments, field observations, and creative projects. Students will expand their understanding of critical scientific principles while engaging in fresh challenges that connect science to the world around them.
In the spring semester, students will:
- Explore new concepts in forces, motion, and energy transfer.
- Investigate ecosystems, weather patterns, and adaptations in greater depth.
- Tackle exciting engineering challenges like designing circuits and energy-efficient structures.
Guided by experienced educators, Curiosity Quest continues to nurture critical thinking, creativity, and a love for STEM. This continuation of the fall semester ensures that students build on what they’ve learned while discovering even more about how science shapes their everyday lives.
